Mrs. Henrietta Pribble, aged eight-one, died this morning at 9:45 at her home in Mineral Wells, WV. Mrs. Pribble's health failed about a year ago when she suffered a paralytic stroke and gradually grew worse till her death. Mrs. Pribble was born on the Jackson farm in Mineral Wells and lived there her entire life. She was a devoted member of the methodist Episcopal church, south of Parkersburg several years ago and later joined the church at Ravenswood. She is survived by one sister, Miss Bertha Jackson, at hom, several nieces and nephews and an adopted son, George Tohlmier. Funeral services will be held at the home on the Jackson Farm Friday afternoon at 3 o'clock and burial will be made in the family cemetery on the farm.1 |

He had been in failinghealth for the past year or more. Mr. King had resided in Elizabeth from twenty-fiveto thirty years. He operated a general merchandise business here for a number of years. He was a skilled mechanic and carpenter and engaged in construction work for several years. For the past several years he operated a service station at his home in Elizabeth. He served eight years as Justice of Peace for Elizabeth Magisterial district, having retired last January. Funeral services were held from the Elizabeth Baptist Church Monday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock, with the Rev. W. C.Harold of Parkersburg officiating. Interment was in the K. of P. cemetery. Surviving are his wife, Florence; two daughters, Mrs. Maude Hoyt ofCuba and Mrs. Ruth Dieter of Toledo, Ohio; one son, Charles King, of Madison, Ind.; and one grand-son, King Hoyt."
