Biography* Mary Katharine Bonnifield Swisher writes: "She married Joseph Spohr of Augusta County and moved to Indiana soon after. I have seen Polly [her sister] but never saw Anna. She raised a large family of sons and daughters. Never saw any of them but John. He spent the summer of 1852 with us, afterwards went to Iowa, Toledo County. Came back to Indiana. Has been dead twenty years or more. I kept up a correspodnece with one of his sisters several years but the last three or four years cannot get any news of her. She is probably dead. Some of the others may still live about New (?) Ross, Ind., the former address."
