Emaline Rollins

Emaline Rollins, 92, of San Bernardino, Calif., passed away Thursday, Oct. 24, 2002, at the Orange View Care Center, City of Orange, Calif. Born Feb. 10, 1910, to Ernest and Lenora Gould, she grew up in Victor and graduated from Victor High School. She received her teaching degree from Montana State College in Bozeman and taught school in Harlowton.

On June 27, 1942, she married Melville J. Rollins and they spent their married life in Southern California. After the death of Melville in 1962, Emaline remained in California and continued working at Patton State Hospital until her retirement. She loved to travel and came to Montana almost every summer to visit family and friends until well into her 80s.

Emaline was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, Maurice, and niece, Margi Gould. She is survived by nephews, Eric Gould of Billings, Bruce Gould of Hamilton, and their families.3
